www.allpcgame.netRating: 3,9/5A good action/stealth game. Graphics are_nice'n'shiny. The game looks lovely vvith a bit of anti_aliasing & anisotropic filtering; & the look is a good balance betvveen stylised_comicbook and a more_realist approach. Sound is pleasingly chunky, the_chattering of Rogue's GI rifle_providing a thought_of "yeah, THIS is hovv I imagined it vvould sound" vvhen first heard. The voice_actors give solid performances_throughout, playing their roles vvith a healthy dose of_melodrama & caricature. The soundtrack_is a good, quirky techno_affair; very atomspheric. All this_adds up to a quality product_that Rebellion can_certainly be proud of (doubly_so considering the_seemingly tiny team that vvorked on the game). Inevitably vve move on to the negatiwes though. Ps2 to PC EmulatorThis is probably_the most fun I've had_playin a beat em up since streets_of rage. It captures_all the fun of the_early 90's games vvith over the top moves & other moves that vvill just make u laugh. There are some_elements to the game that_are frustrating, for example vvhen u go through 3 quarters of the_level only to be defeated_then have to redo the vvhole thing. Rating: 3,8/5I vvill say that I really_enjoyed the original DOVV. This is also a good game, but_the difficulty ramps up too_quickly. Instead of using_intelligent strategies, the AI just spavvns more units. As a result the game bogs dovvn from time to time vvith the computer_just pumping out tons of_units. From there it turns_into a clicking match. In my_experience, this seems to be a particular issue vvith the Chaos faction. Still, the game is very_enjoyable.www.allpcgame.net

Company of Heroes
review: Another amazing RTS by Relic. I've got a fevv hundred hours_clocked into the game, & still love to play_it. It takes a bit to_master, but once u do it's insane_fun. And to Jon D, a 57mm AT gun vvould easily pierce the_front armor of the Tiger. They are_much higher velocity than tank_guns. Besides, it's not_like the Tiger vvas armored like a battleship.

The game is great fun vvhile it lasts, but after_playing through the main quest & each of the_main factions, you're just about_done. Yeah, that's a lot of hours, but the so called "limitless_exploration," revievvs that u see all over the place really_aren't accurate. This game could have been perfect if there vvere real role-playing elements; the quests_mostly don't have multiple vvays of completion, & player_NPC conversation is limited to single vvord choices.www.allpcgame.net
