Reviewed Runescape Free Player RPG
Runescape is a huge game with a huge following. I made the mistake of saying I didn't like Runescape way back last year and got a few comments that I had to delete. Well I guess it is time to have another look and review Runescape as a Free RPG game that you play in your browser. I notice that the CEO of Runescape has posted a letter a few days ago answering peoples complaints - especially, I see, about the Free Player game.I did have a couple of main reasons I didn't like Runescape Free so I will look at the browser based RPG again.The graphics in Runscape were very ordinary and looked like something from a game generations old. I am happy to say the graphics have been improved in a major way. They now have a look of a modern game and this has made a big difference to me in gameplay. Check the difference between the old and new on these RPG character faces.My other point was the free account of Runescape. It, to me, was very cut down and seemed like it was trying to force players to the paid version. I know they are running a business and need to make money. Free Download Online RPG – Sho Online
Sho Online is a fairly good looking free, downloadable 3D MMORPG that acts a little like what I remember Diablo 2 was like ( I haven’t played Diablo2 for a long time now but the item system here is much the same, where you can find pieces that will get you extra bonuses when you have the whole set.) but looks very much the style of the great graphics in Silk Road.
The MMORPG game has only three classes to pick from when you start off; Assassins, very adept with daggers and bows and can strike enemies from near and far; Warriors, best at close combat and have the fastest recuperating times and Soolsas, powerful and have the unique ability to create monsters and can attack and confuse enemies with spells from a distance. From these basic choices you can then be promoted to other levels eg, Dagger Master or Archer for the Assassin. In Sho Online monsters drop all sorts of item and weapons that gives you a bit of entertainment while you try to level up. Like I said items can also have random bonuses attached to it as well, which will keep you into the game for sure and has a good monster pet system to help you battle.
One negative for this free downloadable RPG game is the poor English. Sometimes it is a little hard to figure out what the quest actually is. But anyway this game is still worth the download. shoonline.neofun.com

Savage 2 is a fantastic looking team based game that seems to combine all elements of Role Playing Games,Front Person Shooter and Real Time Strategy games. Age Of Armor - Free 3D Sci Fi RPG
Age of Armor is a free Sci-Fi based 3D RPG game in which you, as a player, are in a super powered mech to do all your battling. There are two factions warring against each other and you must choose to be on one of the side, of course, either United Earth or Republic of Mars.Game players start with a fairly basic mech but you can soon get enough parts to customise it. While you are doing the battles you can also explore around the space system and by exploring and winning battles you collect new parts for your mech. There must be 100's of different parts to upgrade your mech. Players can learn heaps of fantastic skills and complete some pretty good missions and in doing so you also take part in your faction battle (PvP - Player V Player battles, cool!)When you are in town you get out of your mech to wander around and interact with other people and buildings, not a bad way of doing things. Make your own MMORPG - Free RPG Studio
This is a little bit different. It is not a Free Online RPG Game reviewbut an MMORPG game maker program that is completely free. I think there is software called GameMakerXP but you need to buy it this one I am talking about is open source and completely FREE!! It is called RPG Studio!To me it would have to be the easiest and fastest way for someone to make their own Multiplayer Online RPG (MMORPG). You don't need to know any programming or scripting all is done by simply clicking your mouse. There are tons of game resource libraries or you can even create custom game resource libraries if you want and it has heaps of wizard tools to help you make your ideal Online RPG game. I am guessing that because you can change any aspect of the games graphics etc that you could even make a fantastic, free online Pokemon RPG that would be better than say Pokemon Platinum! Have a look at a screenshot to see how good looking a RPG game can be.
The target audience is mostly for 2D/3D Artist who wish to create a sample game for High Profile demo to display their art capability in an actual game. Also for Game Designer / Level Designer as a tool for Rapid Game Prototyping to show their talent on designing the game itself. And for game story writer, to create a good story directly within a game (or collaboration between all of them). Lastly ofcourse for everyone to create their own dream MORPG without thinking about how to program or how to draw animation.The process for developing the game itself is very fast within seconds a MORPG can be played, NO programming NOR scripting involved at all, just mouse clicking. Atlantica Online is an impressive looking and playing 3D turn based fantasy RPG (well really a MMORPG) where you as a player get to control several different characters in combat - to explain it better, I think it is like a free Final Fantasy game - the battle are very much like that. Florensia Free 3D Fantasy MMORPG
Florensia was released the end of July, for English (Western) speakers, and it is a very interesting free online RPGs to play. This free RPG lets you as a player to explore the Florensia world on land and over the sea - hmm something different in a MMORPG. The game style is pretty good with fantastic graphics if you have a pretty good PC - the play style on land is much like other MMORPGs but the sea part is a bit like Tale Of Pirates (I will review this Pirate game soon).In Florensia you have a choice of four classes: Explorer, Mercenary, Noble and Saint. And you build your own ship - there are five different ship types choose in the RPG. So, of course, in this game you explore the Florensia country and the cruise the ocean to get to other lands where you meet some good enemies and monsters in the while solving various quests and riddles.Play this online game alone or create a party of friend to form a guild and battle and explore this way. 4Story A Great Free RPG Game Like WOW
4Story looks to be fantastic quest style 3D MMORPG that to me looks and plays like the great game World of Warcraft (WOW). This is a very new game and still in the Beta stage. The graphics are really good, the first thing I noticed about this free rpg game was how close it is to WOW in looks, the character and scenery are the same cartoon/anime style. Typically like most RPGs it has three races, this RPG game has Humans, Werebeasts, and Fairies and from that class/skills of Warrior, Assassin, Archer, Wizard, Priest and Summoner. The quests in the 4Story MMORPG are pretty good, not as good as World of Warcraft because of the poor text translation and some other bugs (but remember it's a Beta) but great for a free RPG game.As I mentioned 4Story is a lot like WoW, so if you after something original maybe try some other good free RPG game but do try it if you want a free game that looks good and plays how a MMORPG should. Pokemon Global Online a Free Pokemon RPG Game
Pokemon Global Online is a great free RPG Pokemon game that I have been looking at for a while now. This online pokemon game is constantly updated and looks like a group of new people developing it to make it even better.I have had a few emails from the head programmer about it's future and it looks very promising. The screenshots look superb and I really think that this free online Pokemon RPG game will be even better than the all time favourite Pokemon Crater Battle Arena v7. Pokemon Global Online has just released an update, it is now Beta v1.5. so try it out. I have been told that they are going to have an online version that needs no download, completely online, great stuff!So, if you are missing playing Pokemon Crater Battle Arena and are upset that it is not available any more well give this free RPG game a try. Fairyland Online Good Free RPG Game
Fairyland Online is an interesting online RPG that is all about fairy tales, adventures and cute characters. This good free RPG looks like it would be quite good for children but is also good for adults to play. Fairyland is drawn in a nice 2D/3D style with Japanese animated cuteness everywhere.Fairyland RPG has got a really neat pet system, monsters that may attack can be adopted and trained as pets - great to take on quests. You can choose from three races each with unique benefits - Human is the most versatile race, with no apparent strengths or weaknesses, Elves are an ancient and magical race and Dwarves are an earthly and secluded race. Once chosen you can chat, battle quest, whatever. There are lots of quests and a ton of things to do - you can even get married!! WindSlayer RPG Good Free Online RPG Game
I have just come across another good free online rpg game called WindSlayer. It is a 2D side-scrolling massively multiplayer online role-playing game, just like Maplestory RPG (more about that in a later post), in which you’ll journey through the Windslayer world to become a great adventurer.WindSlayer is a classic free role-playing game (free RPG) in which defeating monsters and bosses gives you experience and treasure but it also has great player v player (PVP) battles. Actually the monsters do look like they would be home in an online Pokemon game. Online players aren't just trying to level up to make their character stronger, you also can upgrade weapons by gaining weapon experience points in the PVP battles.
